Middle School Chef Club
All middle schools in Prince William County have Chef Clubs jointly sponsored by School Food and Nutrition Services and Virginia Cooperative Extension. The clubs meet 6 times a year after school, with the last meeting being a special dinner event executed by the club members. Students interested in club membership for the 2016-2017 school year should contact their school's Cafeteria Manager!

September's Recipe of the Month: Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers!
Fresh Green Bell Peppers are halved and stuffed with whole grain brown rice, salsa, corn and black beans, and sprinkled with cheddar cheese, for a delicious, scratch-made entrée, which is new to schools this year!
Our yummy Vegetarian Stuffed Peppers are served monthly in your school cafeteria!
Cafeteria Promotions- September!

Bounce into Breakfast: Start the year off right by making breakfast a habit! Every Monday in September, elementary schools will give away a sports ball to one lucky breakfast eater. Come bounce into the habit of eating school breakfast for a chance to win!
Golden Ticket Bag Breakfast: On September 8th, eat a nutritious school breakfast for a chance to find GOLD and win a fun prize!
2nd Grade Corn Husking Contest, September 13-15: Back by popular demand, second grade students will learn about the edible parts of plants and then cheer each other on as they race to shuck the corn, which will be cooked and served in their cafeteria that Friday!

Farm To School Program
 We serve Virginia-grown foods all school year! In September, enjoy:
