Middle School Chef Club
All middle schools in Prince William County have Chef Clubs jointly sponsored by School Food and Nutrition Services and Virginia Cooperative Extension. The clubs meet 6 times a year after school, with the last meeting being a special dinner event executed by the club members. Students interested in club membership for the 2016-2017 school year should contact their school's Cafeteria Manager!

March's Recipe of the Month: Confetti Collards!
Who said green veggies had to be boring? Yellow onion, red pepper and fresh collard greens are cooked in chicken broth and seasoned with garlic and a little bit of sugar. This delicious side dish is available seasonally in your school's cafeteria. This month you can enjoy them on Friday, March 17th!   

Cafeteria Promotions- March!
Dr. Seuss's Birthday Celebration and Read Across America Day is March 2nd! Come try some green eggs and ham for school breakfast and have a chance to win the book "Green Eggs and Ham!"
National School Breakfast Week is March 6th-10th! Your cafeteria will hold a book drawing each day among breakfast buyers. Eat school breakfast for a chance to win!
Larry the Leprechaun is visiting your cafeteria the week of March 13th-17th! Find him on your cafeteria serving line each day with a clue. Solve the riddle surrounding the mysterious green vegetable to be served on St. Partrick's Day for a chance to win a prize!  
Farm To School Program
We serve Virginia-grown foods all school year! In March, enjoy: apples, cabbage, kale, lettuce and milk from your school's cafeteria!
